Offering all the same benefits and cartridges as the ¡-STAT but with the added bonus of the Chem 8+ cartridge, glucose strips and an individual cardiac troponin I test.  The ¡-STAT 1 is Also ergonimically enhanced and has an increased storage capability to 5000 results.

The i-STAT 1® is a truly portable critical care analyser giving blood gases, electrolytes and clinical chemistry parameters. Running on lithium batteries, this analyser can be used patient-side or in the field and requires no routine maintenance.

Accurate results are obtained in 2 minutes using approximately 90 µl of whole blood and can be printed with an optional printer. The large range of self-calibrating cartridges include parameters such as Ionised Calcium, Lactate and Activated Clotting Time (ACT).
