The InSight® Arterial Blood Gas Syringes are used for the collection of whole blood samples - available in 1ml and 3ml sizes, with or without needle.
Features
- Sterile, single-use device for the collection of whole blood samples
- Luer cap to seal the sample
- Luer lock connection for secure needle attachment
- Breathable plug - double layer porous stone structure, auto-exhaust
- Anticoagulant - ultra-precision sprayed solid lithium heparin, does not dilute blood samples - balanced by calcium ions to ensure accuracy of test results
- Pre-set system for simple and efficient automatic sampling
- Sharps protection guard on version with needle to help prevent needlestick injury
